Agree, understanding consciousness is the key, but it has to come up from cognition, with full understanding instead of relying on intuition and vague definitions. Reaching higher frequencies of consciousness could be tricky without it as well as understanding various consciousness forms and levels.

I hope the concept of symbiotic organisms could be useful to progress it.

Are you saying consciousness comes from the brain? If so, I would disagree. The brain serves as a receiver and interpreter but consciousness exists beyond that. I may be misunderstanding you though.

It is a bit more complex than that. We have to distinguish between consciousness experience in the brain and consciousness itself, the source of which could be coming from outside of the brain.

Also, consciousness needs to be seen as a spectrum rather than a binary property, and at different levels, it can be found almost everywhere.

My original idea of symbiotic organisms is more detailedly explained on https://blog.anatolykern.com/the-hard-problem-of-consciousness/, but it evolves with more recent ideas published on X.

Currently, my view is that consciousness could be originating from another dimension or outside of our space (below the Planck level), with a geometrically restricted part of it within our space, linked with the interface of our brains, and that part can be involved in the development of emerging consciousness at a higher level from biological/physical properties.

Yes, brains are the receptors of consciousness; different brains are more susceptible to different dimensions/sources, with some being very close to what we call machine processing, e.g., consciousness in another dimension growing from what we call artificial intelligence.
