WTF is That?! Bringing Discernment to Contact
Developing 'truthsense' in an era of digital deception, false flags, and systemic manipulation
As we prepare for greater contact with non-human intelligence (NHI), developing impeccable discernment becomes crucial. This isn’t just about detecting and rejecting manipulation from traditional control structures—it is about recognizing how our individual behaviors create resonance with larger systems of deception, thus feeding the energies we say we want to move beyond.
So long as people seek to manipulate and control others in their daily lives, whether deliberate or by default, they are perpetuating the conditions for societal (and galactic) exploitation.
Thus, our personal relationships are the training and proving ground for our galactic relationships—the way we treat each other determines our readiness for contact.
At higher consciousness, control and manipulation are non-issues. However, it would be foolish and naïve to assume that all extraterrestrials or physical beings we encounter are functioning at significantly higher frequencies than we are.
As I posited in a recent conversation with Aaron Force, technological advancement is not a sure sign of higher consciousness. The beings we refer to as the Greys and Reptilians (and even ourselves) are likely proof that lower consciousness races, operating from greed and dominion, are capable of what we would consider advanced technology.
The task before us is to cultivate the kind of clear seeing, or “truthsense” that will help us navigate encounters with NHI, both in discerning their true motivations and the manipulations of our own “intelligence” agencies.
When we refuse to participate in manipulation at a personal level, we’re not just changing our individual relationships—we are actively dismantling the larger systems of control that rely on these patterns and creating the conditions for positive contact scenarios.
The Energetic Laws and Consequences of Manipulation
Manipulation attempts to bypass consent. It seeks to achieve an outcome without the vulnerability of direct asking, without risking rejection or facing our own discomfort. Manipulation manifests in countless forms: the guilt trip, appeal to sympathy, fanning of another’s ego, preying on fears, and so forth.
Whether employed by individuals or systems of power, the underlying pattern remains the same—an attempt to gain something by clouding judgment and triggering predictable emotional responses.
While manipulation may seem like a path to power, it operates on a paradoxical principle: the more we attempt to control others, the more we undermine our own agency and create the very circumstances we seek to avoid. This is not karmic justice but an energetic law that determines cause and effect.
Our beliefs and actions create specific energetic signatures, or resonant frequencies, that attract corresponding experiences, like a lock that can only be opened by a matching key. The field always returns an energetic complement to what is put out.
Morty Lefkoe illustrates this in his book, Re-create Your Life. He realized that seeing himself as someone who overcomes obstacles was actually drawing obstacles into his life so that he could prove to himself that he never gives up. The energetic match to overcoming is something to overcome, just as the energetic match to being a problem-solver is a problem.
Moreover, manipulation’s energetic signature of force inevitably attracts its complement: resistance and withdrawal. Each manipulation attempt generates stronger opposition, creating an escalating cycle of control and resistance. The more energy invested in maintaining these deceptive dynamics, the more desperate the manipulator becomes, making it more likely that others will awaken to the manipulation. I believe we are witnessing this now in our world.
These principles extend beyond our human relationships to potential interactions with other civilizations, including what kinds of NHI we will attract and how our galactic relationships will unfold.
Truth in an Era of Digital Fakes and Potential False Flags
As we navigate potential contact scenarios, we face an unprecedented challenge: distinguishing authentic interactions from sophisticated deceptions. The convergence of advanced AI, deepfakes, and digital manipulation technologies creates a landscape where seeing is no longer believing.
Additionally, the possibility of staged contact events, whether orchestrated by humans or NHI with hidden agendas, represents a significant challenge to our collective discernment.
How might we distinguish between authentic contact and a false flag operation designed to manipulate humanity?
The signature of manipulation provides important clues. Contact scenarios that exhibit these patterns should trigger our skepticism:
Manufacturing of intense fear or optimism without balance
Creation of artificial urgency requiring immediate action
Presentation of existential threats with a single solution that requires surrendering sovereignty
Narratives that feel too convenient or reinforce existing power structures
Contact events that align with geopolitical agendas or military objectives
Messages that sow division while appearing to promote unity
Disclosure that feels partial or strategic rather than transparent and comprehensive
Promises of salvation or instant solutions to our most dire problems
A genuine cosmic encounter will likely feel chaotic and challenging but ultimately empowering and full of curiosity and wonder, at least once any initial shock wears off.
If a contact scenario feels like it is being managed, controlled, or leveraged—especially if it provokes mass fear or unquestioning compliance—we should be alert to possible manipulation.
Higher consciousness beings operate through invitation and respect. We should recognize our friends and allies because they treat us as peers and seek reciprocal relationships of mutual benefit. When we ask the question of "What is in it for us?" the answer should be clear and commensurate to whatever benefit they seek.
Our true allies would not position themselves to be worshipped, feared, or depended on. Whatever they have to teach us should empower us and support our sovereignty, helping us expand our human potential, not limit it.
Our Built-in Galactic Navigation System
The ability to discern truth is increasingly imperative. Fortunately, we each possess what we might call “truthsense”—an innate ability to detect when we are being manipulated or when something isn’t aligned with truth. This isn’t mystical; it’s a fundamental capacity that we have been conditioned to ignore but which will become increasingly important as we interface with NHI.
Truthsense begins with trusting our instincts and listening to our body. While our visual and auditory senses can be fooled by increasingly convincing digital fabrications, our bodily intuition—that gut feeling that something is “off”—remains remarkably reliable.
Our bodies respond to subtle energetic cues that technology cannot yet perfectly replicate.
It may be a tightening in the chest, a flutter in the stomach, or just a bad feeling. These physical signals arise from millennia of evolution, warning us when something threatens us, but they are also connected to our multi-dimensional sensing capabilities.
We can also look for classic manipulation tactics, like DARVO—Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. By learning common manipulation practices, you can detect them quickly when they are being used against you. Below is a practical framework for identifying manipulation tactics in both personal interactions and collective events.
Acting with Integrity
Just as important as noticing when manipulation is being used against you is not doing it yourself. Because these behaviors have been so normalized, often through family interactions like a manipulative parent, it can be difficult to recognize when we are manipulating others. But part of growth is bringing awareness to our thoughts, emotions, and actions and making choices that align with who we want to be.
Consider these self-reflection questions to identify manipulative behaviors:
When I’m not getting what I want, do I try to make others feel guilty, afraid, or responsible for my emotions rather than expressing my needs directly?
Am I attempting to control outcomes by withholding information, creating artificial urgency, or using emotional leverage instead of being transparent?
When faced with resistance or boundaries, do I escalate by bringing up unrelated hardships, positioning myself as a victim, or questioning others’ motives?
What am I afraid would happen if I simply asked directly for what I want and accepted the other person’s right to say no?
By recognizing the pattern and understanding the energetics of cause and effect, we can elevate ourselves beyond manipulative behavior. While manipulation may temporarily extract what we want, authentic connection freely gives what we need.
The energetic match for someone who approaches life with openness, respect, and abundance is precisely that—an abundance of genuine connection and freely given support.
When we release manipulative tactics, we often find people naturally want to help, support, and connect.
As expressed by Peace Pilgrim, an elderly woman who crossed the country several times alone on foot with no money or possessions: “Living in the spirit of God’s law, I find that my needs are always supplied, often in amazing ways...”
Her experience demonstrates what becomes possible when we operate from trust rather than control. By relinquishing the need to manipulate outcomes, she discovered a flow of unconditional giving that sustained her through seemingly impossible circumstances.
Moving Beyond Manipulation
In releasing our grip on control, we create space for willing participation, genuine care, and lasting relationships built on trust. When we let go of forcing outcomes through emotional leverage, we discover that connection flows naturally through direct, honest communication.
With every act of integrity and respect, we are building a higher consciousness society. We gain access to far greater power than manipulation can provide—the power that comes from alignment with the higher frequencies of unconditional love.
When enough individuals honor personal sovereignty instead of choosing manipulation, it creates a morphic resonance in the quantum field that makes it easier for others to do the same.
This is how personal healing becomes collective liberation.
By developing these capacities now, we help create the energetic conditions necessary for positive contact with advanced civilizations and the next phase of human evolution. The integrity with which we navigate our daily interactions becomes our galactic passport—our demonstration that we understand and honor the fundamental principles of higher consciousness exchange.
And as we tune into that integrity, the false and misleading becomes more glaring, bringing about its own demise.
